Swagelining’s Technical Development Manager Allan Feeney will present in the Smart Solutions session at Subsea Expo 2019, which features new and exciting technologies.
Allan will present his paper titled, “Qualification of an innovative electrofusion welded connector for polymer lined subsea pipelines” at 11.00 on 6 February at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (Gordon A).
To date, polymer lining systems for subsea water injection applications have been reliant upon Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) connectors to enable stalk tie-ins. Allan will present Swagelining’s LinerBridge® connector, which removes the requirement for CRA connectors in onshore and subsea water injection pipelines, and explain the qualification process for bringing this technology to market.
Allan Feeney is the Technical Development Manager at Swagelining. He leads the company’s engineering and research and development activities and has been instrumental in the development of the industry-changing LinerBridge connector.
