Swagelining takes overall responsibility for the liner system. Working from the environmental service conditions and the design life for the pipeline or riser, a systematic, formalised design process produces the liner system architecture (the permanent works). The architecture will be suited to the operational service yet facilitate the pipeline construction (and subsea installation) method by enabling a fully welded system where the only flanges present are those specified by the client.

THE INTEGRATED LINER SYSTEM
A fully modular lining system providing flexibility for all offshore pipeline systems.
- Polymer lining – to provide a 50 year internal corrosion barrier
- Connectors – LinerBridge® to join pipeline stalks together to provide a continuous end to end polymer corrosion barrier
- InsuLine Sleeves™ – to provide heat protection should high temperature field joint coatings be specified
- End terminations – Flanged or PLET’s installed onshore or offshore using LinerBridge®
Swagelining’s service focusses on the project execution plan for the pipeline system. The Integrated Lining System is designed to enable the pipeline system to be constructed and lined within an operationally effective, low risk, lower cost environment. The lining system and the way it is installed – cross country, on a spoolbase or on an offshore pipelay vessel – combine to maximise the efficiency of the main pipeline construction spread.
